For the Greater Good!
the setting was perfect!
the atmosphere a bit cloudy, in fact it had started to drizzle..
very scarce traffic on the roads, to make my passage to the shop easier..
I was walking briskly with an umbrella in my hand...
I was talking to my dad, in an excited tone, on my way..
he too was excited cos speaking to one's lazy bum daughter at 6.30 am s pretty weird.. :D
I was tellling him, how I would be disappointed if the shop s not open by now..
in the mean time asked him to switch on the TV to gimme some news on the book's release!
To my amazement, the shop was open (only a dumb person like me can think of a closed shop on the release day of last book of the series :)) and there was no crowd outside at all (so again I was proved wrong ;-)) Murphy's laws work for me then,I guess !
I hung up the phone and smiling at myself for my stupid thought process entered the shop...
WHOA!!!!!
there were at least 100 people in the queue inside the shop..
grudgingly, cursing myself for being lazy, for underestimating people's enthusiasm, I got into the queue...
surely Rowling has done a lot of good for the reading community..imagine people from all age groups turning at 6-6.30 in the morning for collecting a book which many think is just about magic...
the book s not only about magic..its about relationships, adventure, motivation, sacrifice, human nature, human mistakes and above all superb storytelling....
Kudos to Rowling for rekindling that desire to read in many who had given up and for coming up with stories, with such a high sense of clear logic and for her extraordinary writing skills..

coming back to reality .....
the charged atmosphere took over me slowly..the excitement seized to contain itself inside me anymore...I started chatting with a female in front of me and I was there..dint even realise that mera number had come!!
the moment was magical..I had HARRY POTTER and THE DEATHLY HALLOWS in my hand.. Finally...
I had a big, big, big grin on my face...I winked at myself.. as dumbledore does when he eats one of those Bettie Bott's every flavor beans..
with remotely any idea about the book, the plot I walked on...
for the greater good!!!
